PERSONA DEVELOPMENT for "LEFTOVER'' APP

Persona Mapping

OVERVIEW:

Research and gather findings on the potential users for an application that recommends recipes based on a user’s leftover food items.

 

METHODOLOGY:
In-depth Interviews: Each team member will conduct three 25 - 30 minute interviews. Interviews will explore our participants’ attitudes, values, and problems towards cooking, grocery shopping, and leftover food items.

PARTICIPANTS:
Each team member will conduct 3 interviews with participants who are known to buy groceries or cook at home.

INTERVEIW OBJECTIVES: 
• Investigate people’s grocery shopping habits
• Learn more about what they do with their left over groceries
• Discover how people use their leftover groceries

PERSONA MAPPING

To collect data from our participants, we marked their ages, their household size, how many times they ate out per week, their attitudes towards cooking (positive or negative), how frequently they cooked, whether or not they cooked the same meals or new meals, their time restraints (busy or not busy), how much they prioritized convenience, health, and the food’s taste.
