Project Report

Design 1: Project Report

This design allows KOHLER’s employees to easily compare and analyze the activities and projects. I took a look at the spreadsheet, SampleData.xlsx, parsed the data then created the scatter chart for the room occupancy rates. The data is shown in monthly charts with highlighted days for the various activities. Users can select the tubs for specific activities such as rooms, golf, and spa occupancy. Users can select teach activity and look at the details of the activity. The right column shown is today’s summary. There is a summary graph and the detailed overview of the projects. If the rate is above 90% there is an opportunity. If it is below 30% there is a problem. When there is a high utilization rate salespeople might be able to sell the services higher prices. When there is a problem, they might want to consider creating a package to attract the customers.

Design 2: Occupancy Check

This page will be used when a salesperson helps a customer book a room, golf, spa or package. The salesperson pulls a screen and can see what other amenities can be offered. In the right column, there are searching options. The salesperson can select which services the customer is looking for and find availability. The main area of the page shown is the calendar. This was designed to clearly display which days are available or which days have packages. The red highlight days on the calendar is the days the occupancy is below 30% and the blue highlight area is the day have packages. When the salesperson click the day, the person can see the detail of occupancies and options. After checking the availability, the salesperson can click and book the products.
